How to Grow Taller in 2010

Why is it important to learn how to grow taller in 2010?

There are several reasons to learn how to grow taller. And not all of them - or even most of them, for that matter - have to do with being narcissistic or vain about your appearance. The simple fact of the matter is that height - or the public perception of height - can be and possibly should be regarded as just as much of a tool as anything else.

For instance, taller people make more money per year than shorter people when all other factors are equal. Why do you think this is? It's because of human's perception of height in that humans unconsciously associate height with strength, character, and intelligence. Unfortunately for shorter people, people associate lack of height with a lack of all of these attributes.

Additionally, taller people are less likely to severely abuse chemical substances such as alcohol and drugs. Taller people, when polled, are generally happier in their day-to-day lives than their shorter counterparts. And taller people are even more likely to have lower, healthier blood pressure readings than shorter people. The reason for these factors is not physical - other than their differences in height. The reason is that taller people are much less likely to have been singled out in a negative way and much more likely to have been singled out in a positive manner. Shorter people - when all else is equal - are much less likely to have had this honor.

Finally, shorter people are less likely to marry and even if they do marry, are less likely to have children than their taller counterparts. Again, the only difference between the shorter people and taller people polled physically are their heights. This has led almost all researchers to the dismal conclusion that height - or lack of height - is one of the few prejudices left that is not only still acceptable but is widely encouraged.

Learning how to grow taller is not an exercise in vanity, but rather a way that you can help yourself achieve the life that you want. While height is certainly not the only factor in determining a life of happiness, growing taller can certainly eliminate one of the major factors that may be working against you.

How to Grow Taller

Grow Taller

Grow Taller? Is it really possible?

It is entirely possible to grow taller, contrary to popular belief. Anyone at any age can gain precious inches to their height long after they have stopped growing through their natural growth pattern. However, even though you are able to grow taller naturally, you must remember that there are limitations on the amount you can grow placed on you by your genetics.

Through specific exercises and by utilizing specific nutritional guides, adolescents and adults of nearly any age can learn how to grow taller in a relatively short period of time. Many people have learned how to grow taller and have actually gained several inches in height in as little as a few weeks!

It is important to remember that genetics plays the ultimate role in determining your natural height. So while these techniques can certainly show you how to grow taller, you should maintain the realistic expectation that your height increase will be between 1" and 4". Even with this limitation, adding 4 inches to your height is nothing short of amazing. For example, an adult male that currently stands at 5′6" tall will most likely love to stand at 5′10" tall in the course of just a few months.

Using Yoga to Learn How to Grow Taller

Practicing yoga can actually help you grow taller but probably not the way you think or expect. First of all, yoga is not a "magic button" that you will be able to practice once or even just a few times and notice a gain in height. However, performed regularly and correctly, you can effectively use yoga to train your body in such a manner that you can grow taller by several inches in height safely and permanently.

What many people don’t realize is that there is an enormous amount of stress placed on the spine by the way we normally stand, sit, and even sleep. These stresses work against us and our desire for height to increase the natural curvature of the spine to a point that it causes bad posture and collapses the spaces between the vertebrae. This often leads to back pain that can become quite severe.

Practicing yoga can help elongate and stretch the spine in such a manner that it is properly aligned and holds your body up properly, helping you add inches to your height. Many other exercises and sports do the complete opposite: they increase the amount of pressure placed on the spine and thus have the opposite of decreasing your height over time.
